Manchester City made two significant additions to their strike force at the tail end of last week in signing Alvara Negredo and Stefan Jovetic, both have been priced at £9.5m in Fantasy Premier League. Here's the skinny on their likely impact.
It's quite simple. Negredo is a penalty box predator and that means goals,goals and more goals. A quick look at Malaga's goalscorers under Pellegrini tells you the Chilean is fond of a point striker, utilising players such as Van Nistelrooy, Savialo and Rondon in his team. Negredo therefore will compete with Dzeko and we think their can be only one winner.
Jovetic is perhaps the more gifted footballer of the two, but this does not serve you fantasy team so well when he's drifting wide and deep to link play and create space. Aguero too may fulfill this more dynamic and creative role as a front three of Jovetic, Aguero, Silva or Navas all look to tee up Negredo for the goals.
