This our FPL team for GW11 with player selection entirely driven by our data and point projections. We were set to make no transfers this week with an eye on improving Kasami or Wards next week with a spare million we have in the bank.
That will have to wait. A potential month layoff for David Silva is an injury to one of the key players in this team.
A simple look though our projections filtered by MID using the Search Box revealed Santi Cazorla has the next best projection that we can afford. Ozil would have been better pick but we are £0.2m short.
Cazorla is certainly an exciting pick though, and one out of left-field. One reservation we have is we'd consider his projection a 'data risk' in that he hasn't played many full games yet. Knowing Cazorla from last year though we can be pretty confident that his form this year is real.
However, this risk is an aspect of the projections we want to improve on so from next week we will be adding risk flags to the projections if the player has not played many games or is not scoring well relative to his projection (e.g. Paulihno).
